What type of Spanish is taught in Spanish classes online?

The teachers at Español Sin Limite using a clear, standard and international Spanish in online Spanish classes, free of colloquialisms and local jargon, In addition, it is said that the Spanish in Guatemala is the most common Spanish in the world.

Are classes on-line 24 hours per day, 7 days per week?

Yes, but it is important to keep in mind the different schedules; not all teachers can give classes during the night.  If your schedule includes evening classes,it is possible that Español  Sin Limite will assign you a different teacher.  Our Guatemalan teachers have variable schedules and your classes will depend on changeable time zones.

Where are Español Sin Límite teachers from?

Español Sin Limite is in Guatemala, so our teachers are Guatemalan. Guatemalans are known for having clear enunciation in Spanish and teachers adapt to the speed, tone and clarity of the student.

Will I have homework in class and at home?

Every teacher will assign homework to their students.  But it is not obligatory if the student doesn’t have the time. 

How do I see my progress?

By using Google Drive, you can review your work and plan your next steps with your professor. Also, you can access the pages of the exams you have completed. This will allow you to resolve your problems and improve your weak areas..

Can I choose my own schedule?

Yes, Español Sin Limites can implement changes to students’ schedules.   If you want to take classes at different times outside your regular schedule, we are flexible and can accommodate you.

Will I receive a final report on my my Spanish program?

If you  would like, Español Sin Limite can send you a final report which will specify the level you have attained, the areas in which you have improved, and the total number of hours you have studied with us.

Can I pay ahead?

Yes, all classes must be paid in advance. Once you have started taking your classes, you will receive payment reminders every time you have only 2 paid academic hours left. Payment for your next class package must be received 24 hours before the first of these classes starts.

Can I preview the syllabus for the online Spanish course?

Our plan of study is based on the three fundamentals of the Common European Framework of References (CEFR)  

  • The Pragmatic Competency is the practical use of the language (e.g., going to the grocery store)
  • The Linguistic Competency:  grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
  • The Sociocultural Competency:  intercultual relations

We can offer two examples of how our plan of studies works

  1. Basic Level Online Spanish Course (A1)  
  2. Intermediate Level Online Spanish Course (B1)

Can I reschedule my classes?

Yes, you can reschedule your classes without a penalty if you do it at least 24 hours before your class.  Please understand that your teacher has reserved that time for you, so if you cancel at he last moment, you will have to pay for the class.  Nevertheless, if you coordinate with your teacher, you can reschedule to another time.

 

What if my online Spanish teacher is absent, for example if he/she is on sick-leave?

Español Sin Limite considers it important that at no time will students’ learning schedules be interrupted, and we will provide a substitute Spanish teacher online if the student wishes.

Is it necessary to use a web camera for my classes?

Cameras are optional.  You and your teacher will decide how to share documents and exercises.

Do I need to install any special software for my classes?

The only program you need to install is Skype. The other option is Zoom.  You and your teacher will decide which is best to use.

Will I need to buy Spanish study course materials?

It is not necessary because all the materials you will need are included in the package you are going to buy.

Do I need to know any Spanish in order to start my online program?

No, Español Sin Limite is  appropriate who for students who have had no previous understanding of Spanish.  Our teachers use a limited amount of English when it is necessary.

How much do Spanish lessons cost?

How long does a class last?

Every lesson last 50 minutes.
